The Artist’s Loft is an inclusive beauty salon in Haverhill, MA built around personalized artistry, honest guidance, and real human connection.

We offer beauty services designed for real life: not perfection, n a welcoming, creative environment where every client is treated as an individual.

We offer a range of beauty services including haircuts, color, blonding, balayage, vivid color, corrective color, styling, treatments, extensions, makeup, bridal and special event services, along with services offered by our independent beauty professionals.

Because services vary by provider, our online booking menu is the best place to see current offerings and availability.

You don’t need to know salon terminology or have the perfect inspiration photo before booking.

Start by choosing the service that feels closest to what you’re looking for, or reach out if you’re unsure.

 Your consultation is part of the process; we’ll talk through your goals, hair history, maintenance preferences, budget, and what works for your real life.

That’s completely okay. You do not have to speak “stylist.”

Every person’s needs are different, so accommodations can be discussed before or during your appointment. You’re always welcome to tell us what would make your visit more comfortable.

Absolutely!

Hair has no gender here. Services are customized around your hair, goals, style, and identity...not a gendered menu or expectation of how you’re “supposed” to look.

YESSS! PLEASE!!! If there’s anything that would help you feel more comfortable during your visit: ensory, communication, mobility, or otherwise — you’re welcome to let us know before your appointment or once you arrive.

Absolutely!  Inspiration photos are helpful, but they’re not a test and you don’t need to find the “perfect” one. Believe it or not, bringing photos you DONT like are super helpful too! We use them as a starting point to talk about what you like, what you don’t, and what will realistically work with your hair, maintenance preferences, and budget. 

Appointments are strongly recommended so we can reserve the right amount of time for you.

Same day or walk in availability may occasionally be possible, but it cannot be guaranteed.

Individual provider schedules may vary, and appointments outside these hours may occasionally be available based on renter availability.

Parking is available on street, we have a few reserved spots directly in front of the salon. There is typically ample parking and a cross walk is available in front of the salon if you need to park across the street. Our location is directly across from American Grocery with the red awning, look for the purple building!

A tale as old as time.. "I didnt wash my hair because I heard the color takes better" is actually false! It is ideal to come with fresh hair (1-2 days old is ok, but we dont want to be applying color through 4 layers of hair spray and dry shampoo!). Unless other wise stated by your stylist it is always best to come with clean hair! When in doubt, give us a call!

It is best to wear what you are comfortable in that is not too expensive! Although we do our best to avoid color staining on skin, jewelry, or clothes we cannot 100% guarantee that a color mishap wont happen! The Artist's Loft and your stylist will not be held liable for any staining or breakage of personal items during your appointment time! 

In the best interest of the livelihood of our stylists, shall a no show occur or an appointment be canceled less than 24 hours before an appointment time your card will be charged 50% of the service value for that appointment. 

We understand that life happens, and exceptions may be considered when appropriate. Repeated late cancellations or no shows may affect future booking privileges.

If something about your service doesn’t feel quite right, please contact us within one week of your appointment.

We’re happy to provide a complimentary adjustment when appropriate. Adjustments must be completed by the original stylist or salon owner, and complimentary adjustments do not include a blow dry.

We do not offer refunds on completed services.
