About The Artist's Loft
Owners: Danielle & Christian Wells
We’re Danielle and Christian, the husband and wife duo behind The Artists Loft. Our story began in high school, where we first met, and it’s grown into a shared life filled with love, creativity, service; and a home full of paws and floppy ears (thanks to our two dogs and three rabbits!).
Danielle is a licensed stylist with over 11 years of experience, passionate about helping people look and feel their absolute best. Christian is a proud Army veteran and active duty police officer who brings strength, integrity, and heart to everything he does. Together, we combine our unique backgrounds to create a business rooted in care, community, and purpose.
The Artists Loft is proudly women and veteran-owned. Our mission is simple: to make the world a little brighter: one haircut, one kind word, and one act of service at a time. Whether you’re in our chair or just passing by, we hope you leave feeling seen, celebrated, and inspired.
Danielle (Dee)
My goal is to make many personal connections during my services, so I figured Why not share a little about myself?
I've always had a passion for make up which lead me to enrolling in the Cosmetology program at Greater Lowell Technical High School. I graduated in 2014 with my Cosmetology license. This lead me to working and managing salons, becoming a full time artist & assistant manager at MAC Cosmetics, many weddings, photoshoots, proms, commercial ads, and more! I am so grateful for the many opportunities this has brought me. My favorite part about my job is playing a big part in my clients most memorable life moments!
I specialize in color! Whether that be make up or hair I pride myself in being able to capture the vision your have in mind! When I am not working, I enjoy to dance in my free time and even became a certified instructor. If you don't see me in a studio, I'm usually at home watching Disney movies with my husband and our fur babies.
Maggie
Maggie is a passionate individual with a total of 8 years in the hair industry. Maggie is an inclusive stylist with special interest in vivid color special occasion styling, though loves a challenge. Maggie is a former Paul Mitchell graduate and educator, and has a beautiful family who supports her career and passion of cosmetology.
Maggie will be on temporary leave from 7/11/2026 - November 2026.
Krystal
Krystal has been behind the chair for nearly 10 years after graduating from Shawsheen Technical High School in 2016. She is passionate about creating customized looks that help every client feel confident while maintaining the health and integrity of their hair. Dedicated to continuing education, she loves staying current with the latest techniques and trends to provide every client with the best experience possible.
Krystal specializes in lived-in blondes, dimensional brunettes, custom color, textured haircuts, and modern men's cuts. Whether you're looking for a subtle refresh or a complete transformation, she believes every appointment should be a collaborative experience, creating a look that complements your lifestyle, personal style, and maintenance routine.
When she's not behind the chair, you'll usually find Krystal at a concert, cheering on her favorite sports teams, watching true crime documentaries, or spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs. She is incredibly grateful for the support system that has encouraged her throughout every step of her career and looks forward to welcoming both new and returning clients into her chair.
